It all began with Mum & Dad and a female Labrador named Sassenach of Strathdearn  and a poodle named Pepo in 1968.

Family interest remained high in dogs with other labs added along the way and in May 1995 my father Alfred and myself, Hayley, became partners in the CKC Registered kennel name "ELMHILL".

In 1987 Ross Brennan  and a Lab female named Marilla started my show handling career and I have been doing so every show season since in Canada and the United States. I have handled almost all breeds of dog in groups 1 through 7.

Weimaraners came into our lives through Laura & Dan Ritchie (Winoka Weimaraners) with a young girl named Silk’n who is now 9 years old.  I have put championships on a good number of Winoka puppies since.

We are members of Canadian Kennel Club, the Weimaraner association of Canada, and the Weimaraners Club of America. Abiding by the code of ethics.  Other memberships include:  OVPDC and NAVDA.
